About me

I’m Ernesto Mendez, a Venezuelan photographer based in Amsterdam.

For a long time I’ve been drawn to photography as a form of artistic expression and a powerful way to tell stories. I like to look at an image and immerse myself in it.

After working as a photojournalist at a local newspaper in Venezuela, I moved to the Netherlands, where I stepped away from photography to explore new paths and experiences in life.

Currently, I’m returning to photography with renewed passion and perspective, focused on building my portfolio. I’m exploring travel, street and portrait photography, as part of rediscovering my creative style.
